agent

An entity identified by a WebID.

ACL

Access Control List.

group

Group is identified by an Internationalized Resource Identifier (IRI) and consists of members who are agents or other groups.

LDP Service

An ESS service that implements implements the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Linked Data Platform (LDP) specification. For more information, see LDP Service.

Social Linked Data.

URI

Uniform Resource Identifier is the official name for those things you see on the Web that begin http: or mailto. For example, http://www.w3.org/ is the URI for the home page of the World Wide Web consortium.

WebID

A WebID is a way to uniquely identify a person, company, organization, or other agent using a URI. The term “WebID” was coined by Dan Brickley and Sir Tim Berners-Lee in 2000.
