# Notification Services

ESS provides:

* [Notification Delivery Service](/ess/services/service-notification/notification-delivery-service.md) for sending notifications to remote HTTPS endpoints.

**Canonical URIs Required (ESS 3.0)**

Notification subscriptions must use canonical resource URIs (the `/sc/` form). This ensures that subscriptions remain valid even if the deployment domain changes. See [Identifiers](/ess/services/identifiers.md) for details.
