# Platform Management Services

The Platform Management service is the central service for user provisioning, authentication, and account management. All user and storage provisioning — including WebID creation and storage allocation — is handled through this service.

The service also includes data deletion capabilities to help organizations comply with legislative requirements such as [GDPR](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2016/679/oj/eng)/[CCPA](https://cppa.ca.gov/regulations/pdf/ccpa_statute.pdf) and the right to have personal data deleted.
