ESS 3.3

ESS 3.3 is the current release of Inrupt's Enterprise Solid Server. It introduces the Activity Log, a new API for retrieving recent activity on a user's account, and improves the reliability and coverage of audit events.

What's new in 3.3

Activity Log — A new Platform Management API that returns recent activity for an authenticated user's account, presented as W3C Activity Streams collections with filtering and cursor-based pagination. Use it to build features such as an in-app activity feed. See Activity Log for details.

Reliable event delivery — ESS services now publish audit and other events using a transactional outbox: the event is written in the same database transaction as the change it records, then delivered asynchronously with retries. See Reliable Event Delivery for details.

New audit events — Audit events are now emitted for account lifecycle operations and for notification subscription changes, and existing events carry richer context. The service-started and service-shutdown events have been removed. See Auditing for the full list.
